Free mammograms for our patients
Shalom’s Breast Education Awareness Program (BEAP) helps our patients get screened for breast cancer — at no cost — when they might otherwise go without.
Screening mammograms are one of the best ways to find breast cancer early, when it is most treatable. Through BEAP, eligible Shalom patients who are uninsured or under-insured can receive a free screening mammogram. If you are due for a mammogram and worried about the cost, we are here to help.
Who qualifies
You may qualify for a free mammogram through BEAP if you are:
- A registered patient of Shalom Health Care Center
- Age 40 or older
- Have completed a Well-Woman or OB/GYN exam at Shalom in the past year
- Have not had a mammogram in the past year
- Uninsured or under-insured
Not sure whether you qualify? Your Shalom provider can review your eligibility at your next visit.
